WS’s Aquence® coating applies a strong protective coating to metal surfaces, doubling the rust resistance of your parts compared to powder coating alone*. We can coat individual components or assembled parts up to 3’x 5’x 8’ and weighing 3000 lbs.

Aquence® Explained

  • Our Aquence® coating is applied through autodeposition, an environmentally sound process pioneered by Henkel Surface Technologies. It uses a series of tanks to clean and coat the steel, reaching every part, inside and out.
  • The autodeposition process is not limited by variances in electrical energy. This means whatever it wets it will coat, giving long-term protection to your steel part. This is superior to powder coating alone, as electrical energy pushes powder out of threaded parts, sharp corners and tubular structures, leaving these spots immediate targets for rust.
  • Autodeposition coating has exceptional hardness due to direct bonding of the coating, delivering improved finish appearance and superior corrosion resistance. In addition, it provides outstanding thermal stability and hardness.

Powder Coating

WS Steel uses a batch system with four booths to Powder Coat. We use a durable line of powder coatings that are extremely resistant to all weather conditions and are an ideal solution to a multitude of exterior applications. They are available in a wide range of colors and textures and are environmentally friendly, emitting no harmful VOC’s.
